Dr Dom Jackson-Cole, SFHEA (he/they) has nearly two decades of experience as a trainer and facilitator across a variety of sectors. He has worked with community leaders, students, academics and executives in the UK, Belgium, Poland, Japan, Singapore and Brazil. His expertise is in race and racism in higher education, film and media, harassment and bullying, and unconscious and implicit bias. 

Dom works as Senior Adviser Equality Diversity and Inclusion at Advance HE. Dom’s PhD explored whiteness in postgraduate STEM education in England. Dom’s current research interests include anti-racist pedagogy and decoloniality. Dom also holds a masters degree in education from the University of Cambridge. Previously Dom helped shape national Widening Participation strategy while working for the Higher Education Funding Council for England (the predecessor of the Office for Students) and was a part of the Kingston University’s EDI team which was at the forefront of closing the racialised degree awarding gap. In 2019-20 Dom was a member of the Universities UK Advisory Board on tackling racial harassment. Within the film industry Dom worked with several UK and European entities, including the British Film Institute, Digital Orchard and Film Forward NL. On the corporate side, Dom worked, among others, with Hewlett Packard Inc. on delivering unconscious bias training and with OC&C Strategy Consultants, designing and delivering Global Anti-racism and Cultural Diversity Programme for all its employees across 7 country offices.
